Hello everyone,

It is great to be kicking off another genre for the small press, once a flash lit mag (Can you believe it?) that I started way back in my college days (flash call were just flashing out of the pan back then although many of the greats were doing it forever). If you are new to this site, I am so VERY sorry that you missed the olden days of submitting to the themes "The Seven Deadlies" or "Philly Life" because it was neat having our Minos pick the circle of your destiny and waiting for that section or issue to appear online or in print to find your circle. Some of the posts remain in archives, but many have been deleted for websites and links and print companies that had helped us in the past but are no longer around (COVID really shut a bunch of small, hardworking businesses and literary magazines down). It is very sad and breaks my heart.

Speaking of Minos and the PFI crew, they are still here working hard behind the scenes, some from New Orleans, Philly, all over NJ (ME), and now the added connection via technology, in Houston (but maybe moving to Dallas?). Ugh, they like to keep me on my toes. Thank the goddesses for Zoom, meetups, traveling lightly again, and other devices.

I guess I should blurb a little something more about the book and maybe eventually post a chapter tease like I did for Polygon, WF, and Lola all those years ago. Decisions, decisions, all tough on picking that perfect place in the book though, right?

Best to start with a blurb for now then, NO SPOILERS...

She's a magical seamstress and has a fierce cat slash familiar. She's tough with a sword and relentless using her wit and her pins like Elsa's ice to kill with her will before ever lifting a whimsical pinky. Although that is a lot of fun to watch, we know that the conflict, filled with antagonists, keeps the intrigue going, hence we have portals of time, necromancers, mages, fairies, wolves, privateers, muses, and the undead, getting in the way of her dreams of love and starting over from her terrible past. All the other things teased from the other works above and then throw in the time-changes out of her control and other quirky sidekicks.

Let's keep it here for now. I know it's bad to spoil for a potential reader. I will eventually post a chapter with any warnings, once I finish up the final important details for print. We are shooting for spring but could happen a little bit later with the impending doom that has been following me around lately. Ugh, wonder how I get so much inspiration for my horror and fantasy?
