Frequently Burning Inquisitions or Pleadings to Minos

Can I submit more than once a year? How about if my work is accepted? Answer: If your work has been accepted, congrats! Please wait until twelve months later to submit again. If your work received no reply or a rejection, please try your luck again soon. We are getting busier and sometimes we will only reply to accepted submissions. We try our BEST to reply to all, but we sometimes get buried in the slush pile and have fulfilled our current needs. Keep trying.
I have cell phone pics of my friend passed out like a glutton...can I submit these? How about his love letter to his lustful BFF? Answer: Philly Flash Inferno is calling for your best pics, art, and fiction. However, we will not take part in any dehumanizing. Online pic submissions will be subjected to a Letter of Agreement and Permission. The "short" end of Minos' "tail"...it's a "no go."
Do you charge a reading fee? Do I get paid? Answer one: No. We do not have reading fees. Answer two: Maybe. Featured Submission chosen at the editor's discretion. Meaning, we are willing to give a small prize (we really want to give it up) but only if it fits the current theme and is something special. Every accepted contributor gets a free contributor copy mailed to them by the editors. Everyone who has been published can use us as a writing/art credit with a possibility of getting more in our "best of" printed anthology or comic con promotions (permissions asked for but you always retain the rights to your work). When things start moving along, we may be holding readings and attending some book fairs (great for a new writer to gain exposure). Practice your skills here with us as we grow together in our craft.

I have ten pictures I took at a horror convention that I sent over to your mail. Will you pick the best two? Answer: Possibly. Minos prefers an artist to be confident in his work and follow the rules. "Pride" is an Inferno staple. If it is a special event and only a few pics, I may take a look. The site is starting to get more and more submissions and soon this will be an impossibility. Take your time and always do your best editing (pics included) before hitting the "send." Time is a big issue, and you always want to grab your editor's attention with a small sample of your best. Submit more later..."Our Hell is Always Open."
I didn't put "submissions" in the header of the email. Will I still get an answer? Answer: Maybe. This is the best Minos can promise. Don't hit "send" until you read the specs in our site header.
I made some mistakes in my submission. Can I resubmit? Answer: Hell no. Rule of thumb is at least three rounds of editing before hitting the "send." A few common mistakes are sometimes overlooked and edited, but after a few disasters...it becomes Minos' tale...he just likes to play with his "tail." Don't piss off Minos!
